Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the RVenture Trader website located at rventuretrader.com (“Service,” “Platform,” “Website”) operated by RVenture Trader (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, submitting a listing, or otherwise using RVenture Trader, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, sellers, and others who access or use our platform.
2. Description of Service
RVenture Trader is an online marketplace that provides a platform for private sellers, dealers, and van conversion builders to list campervans, converted vans, RVs, and related adventure vehicles for sale. We also facilitate connections between buyers and sellers, provide a van builders directory, and publish related content and resources for the van life and RV community.
Important: RVenture Trader is a marketplace platform only. We do not own, buy, sell, or take possession of any vehicles listed on our platform. All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers, and we are not a party to any such transaction.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Registration
To access certain features of our platform, including submitting listings and contacting sellers, you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2 Account Security
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security at support@rventuretrader.com. RVenture Trader will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activity on our platform.
4. Listing Policies for Sellers
4.1 Eligibility to List
To submit a vehicle listing on RVenture Trader, you must be the legal owner of the vehicle or be authorized to sell the vehicle on the owner’s behalf. By submitting a listing, you confirm that you have the legal right to sell the vehicle and that all information provided is accurate and truthful.
4.2 Listing Content Requirements
When submitting a vehicle listing, you agree to provide accurate and complete vehicle information including make, model, year, mileage, condition, and asking price. You must upload only photos of the actual vehicle being listed that you have the right to use. You must describe any known defects, damage, or issues with the vehicle honestly and clearly, provide valid contact information so interested buyers can reach you, and remove or update the listing promptly when the vehicle is sold or no longer available.
4.3 Prohibited Listings
The following types of listings are strictly prohibited on RVenture Trader: vehicles that are stolen, salvage-titled without disclosure, or have outstanding liens undisclosed to buyers; duplicate or spam listings for the same vehicle; listings containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information; listings for vehicles that are not actually for sale; and any listing that violates applicable local, state, or federal laws. Violation of these listing policies may result in immediate removal of the listing and suspension or termination of your account.
4.4 Listing Fees
RVenture Trader may offer both free and paid listing plans. The details of any fees, listing durations, and premium features will be clearly stated at the time of listing submission. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time, with changes taking effect for new listings after notice is provided.
5. Buyer Responsibilities
As a buyer using RVenture Trader, you are solely responsible for conducting your own research and inspection of any vehicle before purchasing. We strongly recommend having any vehicle independently inspected by a qualified mechanic before completing a purchase. All purchases are made directly between you and the seller – RVenture Trader is not a party to any transaction and does not handle payments, title transfers, or vehicle delivery. You are also responsible for verifying vehicle history, title status, and any other relevant details with the seller. Be cautious of listings that seem too good to be true, and never send money via wire transfer, gift cards, or cryptocurrency without meeting the seller and inspecting the vehicle in person.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use RVenture Trader for posting fraudulent, misleading, or illegal listings or content; harassing, threatening, or abusing other users; scraping or harvesting data from our website without prior written consent; attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems; sending spam or phishing messages; impersonating any person or entity; or violating any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the RVenture Trader website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of RVenture Trader or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our platform without our prior written consent. By submitting a listing or content to RVenture Trader, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your submitted content for the purposes of operating and promoting our platform.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
RVenture Trader provides its platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listings or content posted by users on our platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RVenture Trader and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our platform, any vehicle transactions conducted through our platform, or any interactions with other users. RVenture Trader’s total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of our platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to RVenture Trader in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RVenture Trader and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of our platform, your listings or content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for violations of intellectual property rights.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, providing additional notice. Your continued use of our platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
